About the Role:

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced National Training Manager to drive our internal training programs to the next level. Reporting to the Executive Director – Shared Services, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing Asuria's training strategy, to empower our teams and ensure excellence in the services we provide.

You will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of high-impact training programs across multiple locations. Your collaboration with internal stakeholders will be critical in assessing training needs and driving continuous improvement. Managing a team of four training professionals, you will foster a culture of innovation and excellence while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, you will monitor training effectiveness through robust evaluation frameworks and implement continuous improvement initiatives in response.

This is a dynamic fixed-term parental leave cover position until July 2026, with potential to extend depending on business needs. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective people leadership of the Internal Training Team, 4 direct reports
  • Continued leadership, development and ongoing implementation of the National Training Program
  • Successful leadership and administration of all systems related to Internal Training: Learning Management System, Case Management System and Customer Ticket Management System
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Continuous improvement and administration of Internal Training Service Level Agreements

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.

About You:

Our ideal candidate will bring proven experience as a Training Manager or in a similar leadership role within an internal training or learning and development environment. A strong understanding of the application of adult learning principles and modern training methodologies in internal training environments is essential, along with exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. You excel at managing geographically dispersed teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in learning and development, training, or a related field are required.
