ASICS have an exciting, growth focused opportunity as Marketplace eCommerce Specialist in our Direct to Consumer (DTC) department. This is a pivotal role, responsible for monitoring, maintaining and managing our Marketplace partnerships, being a key pillar in our eCommerce growth strategy.
Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, this position will oversee for essential functions including the optimising all ASICS Marketplace channels, driving sales, facilitate returns and order management, conduct range reviews and assortment, and ongoing product enrichment and feed management.
So, what goes into making that happen?
- Plan, develop, and implement our strategy for our marketplace channel; promote the growth of the business while maintaining profit margins
- Monitor and maintain all marketplace sales and transactions, ensuring product is displayed correctly, orders are flowing through and shipped on time
- Product enrichment and lifecycle management, syncing seasonality of products
- Managing all marketplace feeds including all Google product feeds, and integration for all listings via our feed management agency
- Troubleshoot any data mapping issues quickly and work actively to resolve problems with the support of internal departments and external agencies
- Account management, working with all Partners, and other third-party marketplace sites to support our brand ASICS
- Monitor and report unauthorized resellers
- Optimise listings, category storefronts, and brand storefronts for conversion
- Oversee and optimise listings using keyword research, algorithm research, and product search rankings
- Conduct cyclical reporting and analysis on trends, sales performance, competitor activity, pricing, merchandising, marketing, and segmentation
- Identify current and forecasted trends to assist with inventory considerations
- Plan marketing calendars and promotional activity to drive sales and conversion
- Partner with internal teams to plan digital marketing and promotional activities throughout the year, identifying new opportunities that enhance the appeal of ASICS on partner sites in Australia
- Onboarding, setup, and management of any new marketplace partners

That’s enough about us! Here’s what we hope to see from you:
- Proven success in growing marketplace and e-commerce programs
- 2-3 years building/leading a retail brand’s Marketplace efforts
- Demonstrated experience driving strategies for marketplace implementations
- prior experience maintaining and optimizing product listings across third party-seller marketplaces
- Serving as the primary resource for data analysis of marketplace performance.
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines. Results driven. Self-motivated.
- A resilient yet flexible approach
- Exceptional organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer behaviour and trends
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
