About the role:

Join our vibrant and inclusive team at Summerland Farm, a key business of Aruma, located in Alstonville, Northern New South Wales. As a Junior Food and Beverage Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in our diverse operations, which include a major tourism attraction, restaurant and functions centre, packing and dehusking facility.

Your role will involve supporting daily operations across our Retail & Tourism businesses, including our Restaurant and Functions, Café, Grocer, Adventure Park, and Tours. You will deliver outstanding customer service, contributing to a memorable experience for our visitors and ensuring the smooth running of our various services. Your efforts will be essential in fostering a cohesive team environment and achieving our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide service delivery of food, beverage, retail products and tour services for Summerland Farm patrons.
  • Provide accurate and effective information to customers on all activities and services of Summerland Farm.
  • Work independently and in a cohesive team environment with a focus of providing a positive customer experience.
  • Follow safe working practices to ensure the quality and timely delivery of food, beverage and retail products.
  • Use appropriate IT systems on a daily basis and adopt new technologies aligned with the changing needs of the business and customer requirements.

  • Sound verbal and written communication
  • Basic literary and numeracy skills
  • A practical understanding of WHS requirements
  • Available for weekend and mid-week evening function shifts
  • Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
