About the role:

Join our team as the Head of Property Partnerships, a leadership role dedicated to enhancing accommodation solutions for individuals with disabilities. In this position, you will oversee our governance framework and drive the strategic direction of our housing partnerships, ensuring that we deliver the highest standards of quality, compliance, and service. You will build and maintain relationships with community housing providers, holding them accountable for fulfilling existing and new agreements.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure our housing programs are safe, accessible and sustainable. Reflecting the needs of people with disabilities while adhering to industry best practices. Your leadership will be essential in improving the standard and delivery of our accommodation options, driving data-informed decision-making to enhance property performance.

As the Head of Property Partnerships, you will lead initiatives to establish a commercially focused Property Line of Business, identify growth opportunities across various states and ensure alignment with our organisational purpose and values. Your proactive leadership will foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, empowering a high-performing property team dedicated to customer focus and continuous improvement.

About You:

  • Degree qualification in Business, Finance, Procurement and Contract Management, Facilities and Property management or similar field (or extensive equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated track record of strategic, business-focused partnering of at least 10 years at a senior management level.
  • Experience developing and managing governance frameworks, service provider, or accommodation partner relationships and a proven track record managing and leading to achieve excellence across a balanced set of KPIs, including customer satisfaction, risk and compliance and quality management.
  • Direct operational experience working across multiple asset classes in a geographically dispersed organisation.
  • Broad financial and commercial experience in a complex, fast paced industry of at least 10 years.
  • Results driven, with a proven and unequivocal commitment to achieving goals but able to manage the tension between financial and social purposes. Ability to assess risk and determine the appropriate response.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and relevant organisations and to cultivate an appropriate and extensive network. Ability to take stakeholders on the journey, resulting in greater collaboration.
  • Experience in managing a P&L, developing budgets, monitoring performance and forecasting outcomes. Uses financial metrics to assess performance and identifies lead indicators to manage performance.
  • Thorough knowledge of the disability sector, and state and national issues impacting services, including NDIS funding model and processes, relevant legislation, and standards.
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills.
  • A current Australian driver’s license, good driving record and the ability to travel intra or interstate
  • Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
