We’re looking for Production Assistants to join our dynamic and inclusive team at Aussie Biscuits! In this casual role, you’ll work alongside our Supported Employees, Team Leaders, and the Production Coordinator to produce high-quality biscuits while helping to create meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

About You:

  • A demonstrated commitment to the Aruma Code of Conduct.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines including weekends and evenings.
  • Reasonable physical fitness and a capacity to undertake manual handling tasks safely, which may involve assisted lifting, bending, twisting, pushing or pulling and repetitive actions.
  • Display effective verbal and listening skills, seeking and sharing appropriate knowledge and able to adjust communication style as appropriate.
  • Ability to resolve conflict and assesses when to escalate issues.
  • Competent organisational skills.
  • Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft office and SharePoint applications.
  • Previous experience in a production/warehouse work environment.
  • Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).

Nice to have’s OR Desirable

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in supporting people with a disability.
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
