As a Youth/Disability Worker, you'll play a crucial role in guiding and empowering these young minds to become confident and capable to thrive to be the best version of themselves. Key Responsibilities

  • Build meaningful connections with youth through mentorship and guidance.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that foster personal growth.
  • Provide emotional support and a listening ear to help young people navigate challenges.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Utilise your personal experience to inspire and connect with young individuals.
  • Support and encourage children and young people with Dual Diagnosis including Trauma based behaviour to feel safe and secure to build trusting relationships/connections.

About You:

  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent (click here to view more details) or working towards.
  • Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).
  • Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
  • Empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills to be the voice that resonates with others.
  • Enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire.
  • Availability for 24/7 rotating roster including weekends & sleepover shifts.
