About the role:

As a National Business Development Project Officer for Growth, you will be pivotal in driving and responding to new business opportunities across all lines of business within Aruma Support Services. This role is essential in supporting the National Business Development Manager by developing and maintaining relationships with sector partners to explore, initiate, and expand new business opportunities. You will collaborate with all areas of Aruma to embed sustainable and financially viable support systems, ensuring that individuals can live the life they choose.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You First. Person-centred approaches and focus being evident in all areas of daily interactions and practice including, customer goals and outcomes, as well as being considered in all decision-making processes ensuring customers receive quality supports.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners for growth opportunities.
  • Develop new relationships with ethically aligned organisations for the purpose of networking and the creation of new business opportunities.
  • Assist the National BDM – Growth, initiate, develop, and implement new business offerings and growth opportunities.
  • Assist the National BDM– Growth, deliver on the growth targets set by relevant Lines of business.
  • Coordinate Customer led initiatives for the delivery of new support offerings across multiple Lines of Business.
  • Explore opportunities, with the NBDM- growth, for creative support solutions that match sector expectations and trends.
  • Coordinating the growth site process for operations and shared services, ensuring collaboration between Aruma teams
  • Provision of an efficient and effective customer service function whilst optimising sales growth and opportunity for service expansion.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice and direction to the broader BD team regarding growth site status.
  • Self-motivated to work independently and as part of a team to achieve delegated KPI
  • Ability to follow set processes.
  • Building strong, collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse data from internal and external sources to drive new offerings.

About You:

  • Qualifications in Project Management, or Office Administration. 
  • Engaging personality, well developed presentation, written, verbal and listening skills, including an excellent telephone manner.
  • Be able to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Commitment to the customer service ethic, always putting the needs of the customer first.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Openness to new challenges and adaptable to change.
  • Able to adapt communication style to specific needs of individuals and groups.
  • Self-motivated, accountable and customer focused.
  • Demonstrate confidence, empathy and sound business judgement in interactions and in the provision of advice.
  • Great organisational skills and good computer literacy and capability in using systems and technology.
  • An understanding of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of the company, employees, customers and their families.
  • Ability to work proactively and autonomously.
  • Ability to promote Cross Line of Business supports.
  • Ability to travel interstate and intrastate as and when required
  • Current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
  • Hold current or willingness to obtain relevant regulatory requirements (as per role and/or State).

Desirable

  • Experience within the Disability or Services Industry and an ability to relate to people from all walks of life.
  • Previous Admin experience
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Ability to promote Cross Line of Business supports.
  • Experience in using CRM and a database
  • Advanced level of computer literacy is essential.
