Our team is not an entry-level team but a destination of choice. Whilst we provide the essential services of a managed service (24x7, Incident, Problem, change etc), we also provide our customers with the ability to develop/enhance and build new Azure services and enhancements - typically, our consultants perform as much build and enhancement work as managed services support.

Key responsibilities

  • Identifying and implementing uplifts and modernisation opportunities in customer Azure environments
  • Provide level 3 support to our Managed Services customers, which typically includes Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Fulfilment, Event Management and Monitoring ·
  • Provide paid on-call/after-hours support for Major Incidents on a rotating roster · Provide Azure enhancement, build and development services to our customers
  • Assisting with identifying and implementing SRE principles and practices and applying these to customer environments and processes.
  • Applying an automate-everything approach to customer platforms for reliability at scale
  • Hardening the security posture of customer environments
  • Perform and automate security posture and FinOps reporting and reviews, and implement technical recommendations
  • Build, configure and deploy IaC pipelines (Azure DevOps, Bicep, GitHub, Terraform)

What you'll bring to the role

  • Experience with Azure IaaS: Experience supporting, maintain and deploying Azure Infrastructure resources such as Virtual Machines, Virtual Machine Scale Sets, Networking, Firewalls AND/OR Azure Virtual Desktop: Experience with supporting, maintaining and deploying Azure Virtual Desktop environments
  • High level knowledge of SRE and why it's important
  • Experience deploying monitoring and observability in Azure
  • Mid-level experience with Microsoft Azure (2+ year's experience)
  • The ability to organise and run workshops, gather, document and scope customer requirements, deliver on the work, and oversee others doing the work
  • Proven practical experience developing new, enhancing and deploying Azure Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and pipelines
  • Coding experience in one or more languages (.NET, C#, PowerShell) to develop new solutions for customers and automate everything

What we offer
