Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced leader in operational disability leadership to join our Strategy team as the Principal, NDIS Practice. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and refining policies and processes that ensure the quality and compliance of our disability services, aligning them with the latest NDIS standards and legislative requirements.

As the Principal, you will lead efforts to keep our services up to date with evidence-based practices, liaising with external bodies, compiling evidence for audits, and ensuring that updated policies and procedures are effectively launched and integrated into day-to-day operations.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Assess the quality of practice being provided by programs is in line with NDIA, NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commissions and NDIS Practice Standards.
  • Provide advice and bring together program leaders and practitioners to strategise and deliver effective changes that facilitate high quality customer outcomes.
  • Co-design service delivery with customers and advocate for their needs by participating in industry events/networks.
  • Support on projects around system implementation to ensure systems are aligned with business needs and troubleshoot any issues related to this.
  • Explore and develop a customer advisory group, mapping customer journey to inform co-design of service delivery with customers.

What do you need to bring?

  • Tertiary qualification in social sciences, community service or disability, or significant relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice relevant to disability services, and experience in leading teams to achieve customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS including legislative and compliance requirements of service delivery.
  • Demonstrated understanding of monitoring customer outcomes and leading staff discussions on service approaches to ensure outcomes focussed approach to service delivery.
