Who are we looking for?

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team. Using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will listen to stories, build relationships with our aged care residents and their families, and support residents to continue living their best life. You will provide personal care and support to our residents whilst ensuring their comfort and dignity is maintained at all times.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Support residents in one of our facilities by providing quality person-centred care, with wants and needs of the resident at the core of all of your actions
  • Collaborating with other staff to provide quality physical, emotional, wellness and clinical care
  • Build relationships with our aged care residents and their families
  • Engaging and liaising with residents, their families and carers to improve their health, lifestyle and well-being
  • Sharing professional knowledge with your teammates

What do you need to bring?

  • Certificate III in either Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional and social needs of older people
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Certificate of completion - SA Health’s Understanding COVID-19 for Aged Care Workers (free online training)
  • Current influenza vaccination and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • TGA approved Covid-19 vaccine including the booster shot
  • National Police Clearance (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people. 6 months or more remaining on clearance, please note NPC's are valid for 3 years)
