Who are we looking for?

AnglicareSA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, to lead our Family Services team within the Children, Youth, Families and Homelessness (CYF&H) service stream. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a suite of family-focused programs that are culturally informed, trauma-sensitive, and evidence-based, all aimed at supporting vulnerable families.

You will have four direct reports that you collaborate closely with and a larger team of around twenty five staff to embed clinical, reflective and restorative practices within. You will form part of a broader Children, Youth, Families and Homelessness Operational leadership team and integration is a primary driver.

What can you expect to be doing?

  •  Lead and inspire a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services aligned with funding agreements and community needs
  • Drive continuous improvement through strategic planning, evaluation, and development of services that meet the needs of vulnerable families
  • Integrate culturally responsive practices across all programs, ensuring a holistic and inclusive approach to service delivery
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to innovate and enhance services, and actively contribute to networks within the sector

What do you need to bring?

  • Proven leadership experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams within the community or human services sector
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed, family centred practice, and cultural competence
  • Ability to manage budgets, risks, and service contracts effectively
  • Commitment to supporting diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation efforts 

Qualifications /Special Conditions

  • Bachelor of Social Work, or equivalent experience and eligibility for registration with the new Social Worker Registration Board (SWRB)
  • National Police History Check / Working With Children Check
  • Willing to work at other sites as required
