Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a proactive, deadline-driven individual with exceptional attention to detail. You should be comfortable asking challenging questions, possess strong communication skills, and have an innovative mindset. The ideal candidate is adaptable in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels and has a passion for guiding and coaching others.

What can you expect to be doing?

Working under the Contracts Insurance Lead, you'll be deeply involved in reviewing contracts.

  • Audit contracts to ensure outcomes, KPIs, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Advise stakeholders on contract performance and compliance.
  • Help develop and review policies and procedures for contract delivery.
  • Identify contract obligations and work with Legal services on non-compliance issues.
  • Contribute to reports on contract compliance for resource planning.
  • Provide timely and accurate internal audits as per the schedule.
  • Help create and plan the internal audit schedule with stakeholders.
  • Use risk-based thinking to identify and recommend solutions for operational and strategic risks.
  • Assist with funding contract queries.
  • Help manage and resolve complaints and internal appeals.
  • Support and evaluate quality and risk initiatives, including strategic projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with management to promote compliance.
  • Attend management meetings to provide support and information.

What do you need to bring?

  • Understanding Contract management
  • Experience in conducting internal audits against management systems and contract compliances
  • Time management and organisation skills, able to plan, prioritise and achieve outcomes and to successfully meet deadlines and KPIs, working both independently as well as an effective and collaborative team member.
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with a strong ability to understand the overall context.
  • Interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to produce documentation of a high-quality including reports, procedures, and forms.
  • Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to understand complex concepts, analyse and interpret data, and communicating findings clearly and concisely.
  • Skilled in guiding, advising and developing others. 
  • Qualifications - Tertiary or equivalent qualification and/or experience in Business, Law, or Risk Management Internal Auditor qualifications desirable.
