This is a truly exciting time to be joining our Community Aged Care team, as we are experiencing significant service growth! We are looking for a rostering champion who thrives working in a bustling team environment, but can also power on solo. You will get a kick from juggling tasks and working to ever competing deadlines. You will provide efficient service delivery by rostering direct care services in a way that is timely and responsive to the needs of our customers. This is a truley rewarding role where you respond to real time rostering needs while liasing with customers and hearing the impact you have made in their day.

What can you expect to be doing?
- Edit and maintain an optimised roster that is responsive to both forecast and reactive rostering needs, whilst matching the customer needs to staff abilities.
- Provide a solution focused approach to rostering, reactive and proactive rostering requirements.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills with a customer focused approach to all customer interactions.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively with team members and customers to schedule services that meet customer needs and preferences
- Create, edit and maintain rosters for a team of direct care staff in accordance with individual contracts and Enterprise Agreement requirements.
- Communicate promptly and effectively with Care staff, Coordinators and Nurses regarding changes to services
- Coordinate cover for all shift vacancies due to planned or unplanned leave
- Manage and maintain rostering systems to improve customer service and deliver best practice care and services
- Timesheet management
- Manage a busy enquiry inbox
What do you need to bring?
- Significant rostering experience preferably within the aged care/community services sector (essential).
- High level communication skills that provide a responsive and respectful customer and/or team member experience.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge of, and capability to inform, best practice business processes relating to rostering and workforce optimisation.
- Confident navigating rostering systems and software.
- Demonstrated ability effectively communicate with and relate to a diverse range of people.
- Possess drive, initiative and the ability to positively adjust to tasks with changing requirements and situations.
