Who are we looking for?
We are looking for warm and friendly volunteers that enjoy assisting in an office environment to support the functions of services to customers, with an availability of a minimum of 10 - 15 hours per week on week days.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including word processing, data entry, filing, document preparation, photocopying, collating, binding, and mail distribution as needed
- Assist with the receipt and dispatch of both internal and external mail and courier shipments
- Assisting with the preparation of letters, form, handouts and other materials for clients
- Provide administrative support to the coordinator and assist with ad hoc tasks upon request
- Monitor email inboxes and ensure timely responses to incoming communications.
What do you need to bring?
- General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work effectively within an office based team environment, in accordance with AnglicareSA’s values
- Empathy, compassion and a non-judgemental and respectful manner
- Relate well with people from a variety of different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
