At Ampcontrol, innovation, technology, and people are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health & Wellbeing Business Partner to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving positive health and wellbeing initiatives across the Ampcontrol Group.
The Opportunity
As the Health & Wellbeing Business Partner you will act as the subject matter expert in injury and claims management and collaborate with leaders and operational business units to effectively implement and maintain Ampcontrol’s HSEQ system.
You are required to have strong knowledge of industry best practices and legislative requirements. Combined with injury prevention expertise and practical project management skills, you will effectively implement continuous health and wellbeing (H&W) improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering, supporting, monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of H&W and injury management programs, with regular reporting on performance.
- Supporting the implementation of health, wellbeing, and injury prevention initiatives
- Actively promoting a positive health & injury prevention culture across the Ampcontrol Group.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications as an allied health professional or in a relevant health discipline such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitation counselling exercise physiology or in a related field and / or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Proven injury prevention experience
- Experience working within in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience collaborating with management to implement RTW plans, programs, and strategies, as well as managing complex workers’ compensation claims
- RTW Coordinator Accreditation or equivalent and extensive knowledge of workers compensation legislation
- Knowledge of State specific Workers Compensation Legislation, Health & Safety Legislation, relevant WorkCover guidelines and current related issues/ trends
- Injury Management and Claims Risk Management
- Competent in the Microsoft Office applications, reporting & analysis
