Ampcontrol are currently seeking a strong and motivated Parts Interpreter / Customer Service Officer to play a pivotal role within our Mackay Electrical Services Operation, in a part time capacity offering school hours.

This busy and diverse role requires a person with a high level of attention to detail with a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.

What you will do:

As a key point of contact for our customers, you will be required to maintain a vibrant, proactive approach in your daily tasks, which will include:

  • Preparing quotes for internal and external supply enquires
  • Processing all supply orders including internal transfer orders
  • Sending technical enquiries through to the relevant people
  • Responding to all enquiries in a timely manner
  • Managing tickets through ZenDesk
  • Assisting the stores with picking items for shipment
  • Reporting and management of supply order DIFOT
  • Assist with customer contract pricing
  • Managing safety stock levels for selected equipment in QLD database

This role will also supply support with some administrative tasks including but not limited to:

  • Processing Timesheets
  • Answering the phone, taking and forwarding messages
  • Reception duties including greeting people at the front counter
  • Booking and reconciliation of travel, accommodation & induction requirements
  • Raising requisitions and receipting invoices through our operating ERP system

What are we looking for from you?

  • Be flexible and adaptable to change
  • Quality and attention to detail – some orders can be for large quantities of money and/or customer critical items therefore attention to detail is essential
  • Energetic and positive attitude to problem solving
  • Time management and prioritisation are essential as the need to change tasks at short notice occurs frequently and the volume of tasks can be high
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be resourceful
  • Experience in mine site based contractor management systems is desirable
  • Experience using ERP/MPR systems is desirable
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications
