Purchasing Lead

PURCHASING LEAD

Our strategic plans for growth and expansion means we are looking for a Purchasing Lead to play a pivotal role in helping Ampcontrol lead the global energy revolution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 This role coordinates the purchasing team to ensure goods & services are delivered in time at the correct price and quality in the management and construction of products, projects & jobs at Ampcontrol which includes the maintenance of the master data (items & vendors) to ensure MRP is accurate.

 You will interact with your team & key personnel from all Ampcontrol sites in a cross-functional capacity and run & manage the purchasing activities. 

As part of this role, you will perform Supplier reviews & evaluations.

Your Team will achieve synergies and process improvements with a focus on cost savings.

 ABOUT YOU

 Education and qualifications

• Undertaking a Cert IV or Diploma Purchasing or equivalent combination of education and experience

 Technical competencies and skills (Including required license's & certificates)

• Competent in the Microsoft Office applications
• Syteline or ERP purchasing experience

 Relevant Experience

• Experience with ERP and MRP systems
• Experience working within in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in a similar role
