Trade Assistant

This opportunity is best suited to an experienced Trades Assistant or Labourer looking to take on a new challenge. You will work out of our Mackay Mechanical workshop on a full-time basis, while assisting tradespeople on the overhaul, repair and manufacture of underground mining equipment.

What are we looking for from you?

Your willingness to gets hands on in a manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:

• Experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing Industry
• Strong hand tool and attention to detail skills
• Can do attitude with the ability to work unsupervised
• Current driver's licence
• Forklift licence
• Dogging and Rigging Licence (desirable)

This role is not a FIFO or DIDO position you must reside in Mackay or be willing to relocate to Mackay to be successful for this role.
