Micra Hobart is a welcoming and productive team of 15 who all work well together completing a variety of private and insurer repairs: Everyone works to the same goal, sharing their talents and knowledge.

Our site is a neat and tidy workshop and equipped with modern tooling including Car-O-Liner systems, 1 hoist and 2 Spray booths the equipment, tools and facilities are modern and well looked after. There’s plenty of free street parking out the front. Every month, the team enjoys a free staff lunch on site.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Automotive Spray Painter to join our Team at Micra Hobart.

This is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday. Shift time of 8am to 4pm.

Our team has access to the Glasurit paint system, renowned for its precision and quality. We're seeking individuals with experience in waterborne paint systems to join us and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

Role responsibilities

• Complete paint jobs in accordance with processes and procedures
• Sign off on the final colour, including minor colour adjustments to deliver a high-quality paint finish for the customer
• Maintain spray booths, equipment, and robots daily
• Any adhoc duties as directed by leadership

Does this sound like you? 

• Be a Trade Qualified Spray Painter (essential)
• Have experience in Collision Repair industry (essential)
• Have full Australian Working rights and valid drivers licence
