At Wells Bodyworks & Towing we are a busy workshop conveniently located in central Hobart.

We complete a variety of light and heavy repairs. Our skilled and enthusiastic team of 28 are driven to provide the highest quality results for our customers. You will be well supported, we are partnered with major insurers and can ensure a steady stream of work, Monday to Friday with overtime on occasion, for those who are looking for more.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and quality driven Automotive Spray Painter to join the team at Wells Bodyworks & Towing, Hobart.

We are busy, close-knit collision repair workshop with a great team. You will have a secure position and become an integral part of our team, delivering quality to our customers.

Permanent position. Monday to Friday. 40 hours per week.

Role responsibilities

• Complete paint jobs in accordance with processes and procedures
• Sign off on the final colour, including minor colour adjustments to deliver a high-quality paint finish for the customer
• Maintain spray booths, equipment, and robots daily
• Any adhoc duties as directed by leadership

Does this sound like you? 

• Be a Trade Qualified Spray Painter (essential)
• Have experience in Collision Repair industry (essential)
• Have full Australian Working rights and valid drivers licence
