AMA Collision Mackley St is Townsville’s one-stop shop for automotive spray-painting, panel beating, and mechanical repairs. The large, friendly team maintains a family atmosphere and take pride in their workmanship. The business has been known for quality and efficiency in Townsville, and opened their huge new workshop in Garbutt five years ago. The site is clean and well organised, and conveniently located just off Woolcock St.

 

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for Customer Service Officer to join the team at AMA Collision Mackley St, Garbutt.

This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.

We are seeking a Customer Service professional, you will be assisting and supporting our wider team and managers with administration support and providing our customers updates regarding their vehicle repairs.

Role responsibilities

  • Ensuring the environment is always customer friendly
  • Greeting customers on arrival.
  • Keeping our customers informed about the repair process and anticipated completion dates for their vehicles
  • Contacting customer to ensure that they are satisfied with the AMA experience
  • Telephone and email correspondence
  • Supporting management with inventory (parts, paint, consumables etc)
  • Liaise with insurance providers regarding claims/repairs

  • Proven experience within a Customer Service position
  • Highly professional and personable with strong relationship building skills
  •  Strong systems experience and competent computer abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
