BF Panels is a huge, purpose-built panel shop right next to the Riverina Highway between Albury and Thurgoona, with a large car park, separate towing and storage facility, and 4WD retail outlet on site. They’re backed by all the latest tooling and technology — including two full-size Car-O-Liner systems, computer measuring systems, three Lowbake spray booths, welders, etc.

The Opportunity

BF Towing, Thurgoona is seeking a dedicated and skilled Towing Manager to lead our team. This role involves managing phone calls, quoting jobs, delegating rosters and tasks to drivers, ensuring safety protocols, and overseeing vehicle maintenance.

Role responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and provide accurate job quotes.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to drivers and monitor their performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards including PPE for both personnel and vehicles.
  • Oversee regular maintenance schedules for all towing vehicles.
  • Respond to towing callouts in a safe and timely manner
  • Assist with the delivery and collection of clients vehicles
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention
  • Handle all company tools and equipment with due care and attention ensuring they remain safe, clean and in a workable condition

 

Does this sound like you?

  • Hold a NSW Tow Truck driver's certificate
  • Hold a medium rigid truck drivers license as a minimum
  • Reliable and flexible
  • The ability to work independently and to deadlines
  • Good organisational skills
  • Be a team player and have exceptional communication
