  • Assist with the audit process, including coordinating the review of tax provisions.

  • Review and advise on indirect and employment taxes, including monthly BAS returns prepared by business unit accounting teams.
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as requested by the Finance teams and Group Financial Controller.

Treasury:

  • Oversee the cash flow forecasting process, working closely with business units to ensure accurate projections.
  • Own and manage the NAB Connect system, including user access, revocation, and handling all forms and processes related to NAB.
  • Oversee bank account closures, banking administration, and bank guarantees.

Selection Criteria:

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders, including tax advisors, auditors, and external banks.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong understanding of control environments and policy adherence requirements.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Finance-related degree with a CA/CPA qualification.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance for tax consolidated groups, including direct interaction with the ATO and/or tax agents.
