AMAH State-wide Services include WREN- Women’s Recovery Network Ramsay Albert Road Clinic; Ngami Wilam - Residential Eating Disorders Treatment Centre in Armadale; and the Lived Experience Residential Service. AMAH also works in partnership with local non-government and social support agencies. About the role
You will be responsible for the provision and the development, of nutrition and dietetic services within a residential eating disorder service under AMAH. This position will work in partnership with key stakeholders to support dietitians, mental health clinicians and support services within the eating disorder service. This role will involve helping to identify and define the learning needs of other clinical and support staff with regards to food and nutrition as well as the provision of individual and group service delivery. She/he will provide assessment and nutritional management for Alfred Health consumers living with an eating disorder within the residential eating disorder service.
Student education, supervision of Grade 1 Dietitians and active participation in quality and/or research activities are integral to this role.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
- Eligibility for DA membership and eligibility to be a Certified Accredited Practising Dietitian
- Minimum of three years’ clinical experience
- Credentialed Eating Disorders Clinician, can be working towards
- Experience in the application of Dietetics in practice in across mental health services
- Australian working rights
- Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a background check
