Applications are invited for Fractional Specialists to work in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Alfred Health. 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Applicants must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and hold Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
  • Demonstrate relevant contemporary knowledge and experience in Anaesthesia
  • Meet Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Anaesthesia
  • Current experience independently leading the clinical anaesthetic and immediate perioperative care of major trauma and burns patients
  • Appropriate experience and skills to be able to provide anaesthetic services at Sandringham Hospital
  • At least one year of experience working at consultant level in a major tertiary referral level institution

Successful applicants will be expected to work in a variety of clinical situations, and across multiple campuses of Alfred Health, including The Alfred and Sandringham Hospital.
