The Role

As a Project Consultant at AGE Consultants, you will deliver high-quality field investigations, specifically, core chip logging, wireline interpretation and lithological correction/validation, VWP and TDR installation, groundwater sampling, packer testing, slug testing, field data interpretation, and reporting. Field programs are usually 5:2 in the Hunter Valley region. With an active focus on your professional development, you will have the opportunity to build broad skills to advance a long term career with us as a Hydrogeologist.

After experiencing consistent growth over many years, we have a very healthy pipeline of groundwater projects and this role is an integral part of our current and future plans. 

You will join a passionate team of groundwater specialists dedicated to producing high-quality results. About You

You will have experience as, or be ready to advance to a Project Consultant in the groundwater industry, including both field and desk based activities. We welcome applicants from all parts of Australia who would be willing to relocate to Newcastle. For this particular role as it is an immediate start, we are unable to accept international applications that require visa sponsorship at this time.

A bachelor's degree (or higher) in geology, hydrogeology, civil engineering or other relevant studies is a must-have. We will consider graduates for this role, providing you have some vacation program or internship experience on a drill rig. We have the resources to provide ongoing training.
