With a utilisation rate 70% for Senior Consultants and 65% for Principals, you will be provided with the time and resources to overcome complex challenges while advancing your skills and sharing your knowledge with the team.

Working from anywhere in Australia, as part of the Queensland Region team, you will lead hydrogeological investigations, developing conceptual models of groundwater systems, and collaborating with expert numerical modellers to deliver practical solutions for clients. You’ll oversee a team of early career hydrogeologists, guiding them through field-based and desk-based investigations, ensuring the highest technical standards. You’ll take ownership of large-scale projects and drive impactful water management strategies.  

Success in this role means:

• Managing projects from end to end, including full stakeholder engagement, investigation design, and delivery.
• Developing trusted, data-driven insights that guide informed groundwater management decisions.
• Contributing to business development, fostering strong client relationships, maintaining project quality and financial performance.

Whether you're a Senior Project Consultant ready to take the next step, a Senior aspiring towards Principal level, or a Principal who has been patiently waiting for an opportunity with AGE, we invite your expression of interest.

You’ll bring relevant degree qualifications, strong expertise in hydrogeological conceptualisation and impact assessments, comprehensive project management and report writing capabilities. Prior fieldwork management experience and skills will be an asset. The ability to engage in numerical modelling discussions and guide clients through the model design and predictions would greatly enrich engagement. An understanding of MODFLOW-USG and script-based modelling will be advantageous but is not essential.

Your enthusiasm for mentoring and driving the technical development of project level team members will complement our culture of continuous learning.
