Make a Difference - Education Support Trainee

Do you want to make a positive impact in the lives of young students? We're looking for a dedicated person to join our team as an Education Support Trainee at a primary school in Moonee Ponds.

In this role, you'll work closely with students and teachers to provide care, help and support in the classroom. Main responsibilities include:

• Helping teachers with planning student routines
• Talking with students to support understanding tasks
• Addressing immediate behavioural needs of students
• Providing basic supervision for small groups of students

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Great communication and people skills
• Patience, compassion and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• The capability to provide physical and emotional support to students
• Willingness to complete a Cert III in Education Support
