Plumbing Apprenticeship /Fire Protection - Women in Trade

Plumbing Apprenticeship/Fire Protection specialising in projects ranging from small fire refurbishments to multi-storey buildings and manufacturing plant installations. Get to work with many of Melbourne’s top tier builders on a variety of landmark projects. Work on installation and commissioning of systems involving fire sprinklers, alarms, fire hydrants, hose reels, fire detection and gas suppression infrastructure.

Seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. We are offering the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the Fire Protection trade under the guidance of experienced professionals.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
• Gain practical experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and diagrams
• Learn to use a variety of plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Participate in on-the-job training and attend technical college to earn your plumbing qualification
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment by collaborating with senior plumbers and other tradespeople
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and workplace health and safety policies

What we're looking for

• Passion for the plumbing industry and specially fire protection and a desire to learn and grow
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to undertake formal training and earn a plumbing qualification
