Boiler Operator- Redwing, MN

Details:

• Pay rate is $35.79/hour, Shift differential of $1.40.
• Shift: Rotating shift including weekends and holidays (12 hour shifts), 42 hours average.
• Temporary contract position with Raise with possibility of extension.
• Completion of Background Check required before offer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating the facility’s boilers and water treatment systems, water treatment laboratory testing and monitoring,
• Boiler operation monitoring,
• Accurate logging of data,
• Equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance,
• Receiving/handling of fuel oil and water treatment chemicals,
• Assist with performing annual boiler internal inspections and cleaning,
• Monitoring facility cooling tower treatment program,
• General housekeeping duties and assisting with rail car movements if needed.
• Overtime or call in’s may be required to cover vacations, absences or during plant shutdowns.
• Commitment to ADM’s expectation of a zero injury safety culture, understand and follow company safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Prefer Minnesota 1st Class A Engineering license but will consider a 1-B, 2-A or 2-B license.
• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen/medical questionnaire and background check.
