Operator/Plant Clerk (Langhorne, PA)

Details:

• Pay Rate: $20 per hour
• Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
• Temp contract position with Raise with potential for perm with ADM
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check required

Raise has partnered with a local agricultural company (ADM), and they are seeking to hire a Operator/Plant Clerk in Langhorne, PA.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Work safely on terminal property. Safety equipment is provided as well as all necessary training.
• Comply with company policies.
• Walk the yard daily, climb stairs, utilize a computer workstation, answer phone and radio calls.
• Use critical thinking to identify potential problems and communicate these to staff.
• Interact with union hourly employees as well as staff.
• Utilize email and Microsoft Teams to communicate with company associates.
• Prepare certain documents for the shipment of food-grade materials.
• Communicate with established 3rd party haulers to assign customer deliveries to those haulers.
• Utilize a daily trailer yard check to assign trailers to specific deliveries based on established information.
• Keep pace with changes to assigned haulers and customer requests.
• Communicate these changes and requests to the appropriate end user.
• Be punctual, maintain a positive attitude, and ask for help when needed.
• Perform yard checks safely in all types of weather.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in doing a similar role is preferred
• Data entry skills are needed to maintain an updated order listing.
• The candidate will be expected to perform yard checks safely in all types of weather.
• Hours will be 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while being flexible to work in a team setting when needed.
• Maintain a professional image and a positive, respectful attitude at all times.
