Scale Clerk (Harvest) - Havana, IL

• Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
• Shift: Mon to Fri, 7AM-3:30PM
• Temporary Contract position with Raise with potential for perm hire with ADM
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.

Raise has partnered with ADM, and they are seeking to hire a Scale Clerk in Havana, IL for the harvest season.

Job Summary:

Scale Clerk is a clerical position involved in the daily tasks of the office (weighing trucks, grading grain, operating a PLC program, data entry, answer phone and filing). This position will provide excellent customer service displaying a positive and professional attitude.

Job Responsibilities:

• Data entry.
• Answer phones.
• File and retain documents.
• Weigh trucks.
• Maintain clean and neat workspace. 

Job Requirements:

• Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures.
• Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
• Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, prolonged periods of using a telephone, bending, kneeling, lift storage boxes.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting.
• Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
• Computer skills are a must; previous experience with data entry using Microsoft Word & Excel is preferred.
• Previous experience with office equipment such as copier, fax machine, etc.
• Ensure the office is kept in order.

Education/Training Preferred:

• High school education or equivalent.
