The role
An opportunity exists for a Fitter to join our team at Mannering Park. You will be required to work in a small team environment to ensure the reliability and availability of our Fly Ash recovery plant.
This position works Monday to Friday with a highly competitive salary and benefits package on offer plus on the job training to develop your skills and career.

Responsibilities
- Delivery of maintenance services on site
- Adhere to H S & E practices and work towards developing a positive safety culture
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Implement and play a role developing continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement and carry out routine Preventative Maintenance on the Fly Ash recovery Plant
- Ensure compliance with statutory and other requirements
- Maintaining the availability of critical spares
- Keeping and maintaining maintenance records
- Other team based tasks as required
What you will need to succeed
- A trade qualification as a Fitter
- Trade qualified as a welder, or with strong welding experience
- Accreditation for EWP, Forklift, Confined Spaces and Working at Heights is highly desirable
- A strong commitment to creating a positive safety culture and team environment
- Experience with bulk transfer systems, pressure vessels and pneumatics
- Experience in a heavy industry setting delivering and managing maintenance activities
- Experience working within a similar role in a 24/7 manufacturing or mining environment
- Excellent communication ability with strong interpersonal skills
- A willingness to work autonomously and proactively in a strong team environment
- Creative problem-solving skills with the tenacity and resilience to implement solutions
- Experience in carrying out routine Preventative Maintenance tasks
- A good understanding of computer systems including SAP would be highly regarded
