The Role

We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Stapylton team in a full-time day shift role, working Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 3:00pm.

In this position, you'll play a key role in maintaining our high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing facility by carrying out preventive maintenance and responding to breakdowns to keep production running efficiently.

You’ll bring relevant electrical trade qualifications, hands-on industrial or manufacturing experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a proactive, safety-first approach. We offer a supportive team environment, competitive hourly rates, and genuine opportunities for development and career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance on fixed plant equipment, including PLCs and circuitry, to ensure operational reliability
  • Respond to breakdowns, working closely with the Operations team to troubleshoot and minimise downtime
  • Support plant shutdowns through major overhauls and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all tasks

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • A valid, unrestricted electrical trade qualification with proven industrial experience
  • Strong fault-finding skills and PLC diagnostic capability
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and confident with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety
