The role
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Fitter / Boilermaker based at our Masonry Plant in Townsville. This position is offered on a full-time permanent basis.
In this role you will be able to apply your technical expertise or other experienced gained, working in a team environment and autonomously on plant maintenance. Great opportunities for development and advancing your skills on heavy industry equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Ensure commitment to safety, quality, and the environment
- Mechanical fitting duties within a site-based environment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
- Focus on continuous improvement ideas.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Mould maintenance/Fabrication
- Ability to cover different positions within the plant if required
What you will need to succeed
- Proven experience in a mechanical role or similar
- A confident, self-motivated, energetic individual
- A team player with a high degree of trade flexibility or experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
