The role

We have an opportunity for a Production / Machine Operator to support in producing a high-end quality product working as part of a close knit and supportive team located in Maroochydore.

If you are process orientated or have experience with a high-speed manufacturing line this could be the opportunity for you. We will provide the successful candidate with specific and thorough masonry product training to link your existing skills and knowledge to our industry.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Thursday (9.5-hour days), with the potential for overtime also. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
  • Operate a Columbia Press block machine
  • Diagnose system faults
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Development of team members
  • Management of raw materials

What you will need to succeed

  • Demonstrated experience as a machine operator (experience with block machines highly desirable)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to fault find with machinery
  • Able to work as part of a small team
  • Strong commitment to safety and the environment
  • Forklift and/or front-end loader ticket (preferred, but not essential)
