The role
We are currently seeking a Supervisor / Team Leader for our construction materials laboratory. In this role you will support our Raw Materials Manager with the daily management of laboratory operations and provide technical support to our concrete masonry operations across Australia.

This role is available on a permanent full-time basis based at our Masonry site in Stapylton.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of the Adbri Masonry construction materials testing laboratory.
- Ensure safe working systems and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Managing product quality and compliance to specifications and standards
- Regular inspections and calibration of test equipment
- Providing technical assistance and training to laboratory technicians & machine operators per approved procedures and test methods
- Assisting with the development of concrete mixes for our concrete masonry product range
- Maintaining laboratory NATA accreditation and quality compliance to ISO9001 for the manufacture of concrete masonry products
What you will need to succeed
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in construction materials testing
- Minimum Cert III in Laboratory Techniques (or equivalent)
- Strong leadership attributes including good people management skills, passion and drive to mentor and develop staff, and good emotional intelligence
- NATA Signatory with a high level of competence and understanding of NATA ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Collaborative and Innovative problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Competency in Command software (for concrete production)
- Basic knowledge of SAP
