We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, customer service focused person to join our supportive team as a Senior Credit Controller. Based in Stapylton, this full-time permanent opportunity will see you assisting with the day-to-day management of debtor accounts, credit risk assessment, managing debt recovery and reconciliation of accounts.

Building on your strong existing skills, you will receive thorough training, have opportunities to develop your skills and gaining exposure to the construction materials industry as part of our commitment to your ongoing development.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customer accounts in accordance with our credit policy to maximise collection of debt whilst minimising customer default risk
  • Assessment of credit applications, risk assessment reports, set up new accounts and action credit limit increases
  • Ongoing data maintenance, assess credit risk and credit application compliance
  • Support Credit Manager with day-to-day management, ensuring visibility of credit issues and month end procedures
  • Liaise with Customer Service & Sales teams on outstanding items & queries

What you will need to succeed

  • 3+ years credit experience in similar role
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to work in a busy, priority focused environment
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Assist to identify, develop and deliver initiatives to improve accounts receivable processes and service
  • Proficiency in Excel essential, SAP experience an advantage
  • Excellent and effective communication skills with external and internal stakeholders
