In this role, you'll focus on three key areas:
- Partnering with corporate leaders to manage employee relations (ER) cases and coaching leaders in their development.
- Supporting and implementing group-wide change initiatives within the corporate function.
- Driving the completion of corporate projects that align with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage Employee Relations (ER) Cases & Workplace Investigations: Take ownership of complex ER cases, conducting thorough workplace investigations, ensuring compliance, and providing actionable recommendations to resolve issues.
- Leadership Development & Coaching: Actively coach and support leaders across the organisation in their leadership development journey, guiding them on best practices, decision-making, and driving performance.
- Project Management: Lead and contribute to corporate HR projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Oversee the successful execution of these projects, from planning through to completion, ensuring they meet key milestones and deliver measurable results.
- Problem-Solving in Ambiguous Situations: Effectively navigate and address ambiguity within the organisation. Identify gaps in processes or practices and propose actionable solutions to improve efficiency and address challenges.
- Communication & Reporting: Craft clear, concise, and impactful proposals, summaries, and reports. Effectively communicate complex situations, including investigations, in both verbal and written formats to a range of stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Foster a customer-centred culture by building strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a high level of trust and alignment across departments.
What you will need to succeed
- A minimum of 5 years previous experience in a Generalist HR role.
- Bachelor's degree tertiary qualification in Business, HR or Organisational Psychology.
- Proven experience working within a People & Culture (P&C) team, with exposure to Employee Relations (ER) and a strong track record in corporate project work.
- Experience in managing complex HR cases, investigations, and providing consultative support to business leaders.
