The role 

We are seeking a part time Payroll Officer to join our inclusive team to support the implementation of a brand new payroll system, Dayforce.

As a Payroll Officer you will be using the new Dayforce payroll system to process Adbri Employee pays accurately and in a timely manner as well as apply your skills and experience to streamline existing procedures and contribute to efficient reporting.

The successful candidate will be someone who can demonstrate advanced skills in payroll, have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, and in return, we will offer an attractive salary with opportunities for development within the payroll team. A parking pass for a 24/7 car park is also provided.

Responsibilities

  • Payroll processing and reconciliations for multiple runs per month  
  • Complete ownership of a group of complex pay runs which impacts multiple businesses 
  • Working collaboratively with HR business partners and multiple internal stakeholders 
  • Identify process improvement and streamlining opportunities for implementation 
  • Interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements 

What you will need to succeed 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience processing multiple end to end pay runs  
  • Experience using Dayforce desirable, but not essential 
  • Proven capacity for continuous improvement and implementing change 
  • Demonstrated success in balancing the discipline and methodical routine of payroll with the versatility of keeping up to date with contemporary payroll practices
