The Role
We’re looking for a Communications Content Specialist to create engaging, high-quality content across multiple channels. In this role, you’ll help connect employees, support employer branding initiatives, contribute to organisational change and enhance Adbri’s presence on external platforms.
This hands-on role involves developing a variety of content assets, with some travel required. The position is flexible, with location options in Sydney, Brisbane South/Gold Coast or Adelaide.

As our Communications Content Specialist you will:
- Develop and execute an internal content strategy to enhance employee engagement and support company initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams, including working closely with People & Culture, Health & Safety, Sustainability, and Marketing to align messaging, maximise impact and support key business initiatives.
- Bring ideas to life through filming, editing, and creative storytelling. Develop engaging presentations, designed materials, multimedia content, videos, and e-newsletters to share strategy and enhance brand presence.
- Maintain Adbri’s website, LinkedIn career page and contribute to the uplift of the company intranet through compelling content and effective scheduling.
- Support brand management providing design support across the business, maintain the company’s image library and ensure brand consistency.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ years in content creation or copywriting role working in or with businesses.
- Proven ability to develop multimedia and written content across various channels.
- Strong skills in taking briefs from ideation to execution, with a focus on deadlines and quality.
- Proficiency in video editing and design tools such as Adobe Suite or equivalent graphics and video software.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned messaging.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously while effectively contributing to cross-functional teams.
- High level of accuracy and commitment to meeting deadlines.
