About the Role

As a Strategy and M&A Specialist, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team, contributing to the development of Adbri’s strategy and driving key initiatives. Reporting to the Group Manager – Strategy and Business Development, you will analyse business performance, evaluate strategic options, and support M&A activities that align with our long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning Support: Conduct financial modelling and analysis to inform strategic decision-making and evaluate commercial initiatives.
  • M&A Execution: Identify acquisition targets, maintain target lists, and oversee due diligence processes, including financial valuation and legal coordination.
  • Market Analysis: Track and analyse competitors and market trends, delivering insights to guide strategic direction.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Provide analytical support for decarbonization and sustainability projects aligned with Adbri’s net-zero targets.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, advisors, and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategy, corporate development, or M&A, preferably within industrial or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a sound understanding of valuation methodologies (e.g., discounted cash flows).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with Power BI experience preferred.
  • Self-starter with a structured and organized approach to work.
