Safety Advisor - SA/VIC

We are seeking a passionate Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in creating a safe and healthy work environment across our operations.

This role forms part of the operations team, supporting the development of strategic projects focussed on health and safety performance and assurance across our Concrete Aggregates and Masonry operations in Adelaide & VIC.

This role has a key focus in supporting and promoting WHS performance standards and consistency across the business and will provide specialist technical direction, advice and support on Work Health & Safety matters in both a Corporate Governance and operational setting.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our office in Thebarton, SA.

In this role, you will:

• Implement and mature our “Work Safe, Home Safe” program to drive continuous improvement in health and safety
• Actively support our safety culture by participating in safety meetings and initiatives
• Review and improve risk management strategies
• Compile and analyze health and safety statistics and metrics
• Facilitate sharing of health and safety alerts and learnings
• Verify completion of corrective actions
• Consult with staff to understand health and safety needs

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A diploma or higher in Occupational Health and Safety or willingness to complete
• Auditing, training or investigation experience (desirable)
• Strong collaboration and influence aptitude
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments (desirable)
