We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, forward-thinking customer focused person to join our supportive team as a Credit Controller. Based at our office in Silverwater, NSW, this full-time permanent opportunity will see you assisting with the day-to-day management of debtor accounts, allocation of payments from customers, managing debt recovery and reconciliation of accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Managing customers accounts in accordance with our credit policy, to maximise potential returns, minimise customer default risk, and maximise collection of debt, including credit limit increases, stop supply and evaluating new credit requests.
  • Support the Credit Management by developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve credit control, and reporting any non-compliance issues.
  • Contribute towards team culture, continuous improvement, collaboration to achieve team goals and KPI's.
  • Ongoing data maintenance including credit limit reviews and credit application compliance

What you will need to succeed

  • Have highly developed customer service skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and diplomacy both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assist to identify, develop, and deliver initiatives to improve accounts receivable processes and services.
  • Strong sense of self-motivation, ability to work in a team and autonomously.
