We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, forward-thinking customer focused person to join our supportive team as a Credit Controller. Based at our office in Silverwater, NSW, this full-time permanent opportunity will see you assisting with the day-to-day management of debtor accounts, allocation of payments from customers, managing debt recovery and reconciliation of accounts.
Responsibilities
- Protecting and maximising the revenue inflow through efficient and effective management of the customer base, credit, and cash collection.
- Work closely with sales/operational teams across the business to maximise potential returns, minimise customer default risk, and maximise collection of debit.
- Support the Credit Manager by ensuring visibility of credit controls and escalating non compliance issues.
- Contribute towards team culture, continuous improvement, collaboration to achieve team goals and KPI's.
- Ongoing data maintenance including credit limit reviews and credit application compliance.
- Manage emails and assist with customer inquires.
What you will need to succeed
- Proven experience in similar credit controllers’ role, in a fast-paced environment
- Have highly developed customer service skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and diplomacy both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Well-developed computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Assist to identify, develop, and deliver initiatives to improve accounts receivable processes
- Strong sense of self-motivation, ability to work in a team and autonomously.
