Undergraduate Accountant – Expression of Interest
ActewAGL Finance is seeking Expression of Interest for enthusiastic and highly motivated undergraduate students interested in undertaking part time work for us here in Canberra while completing their studies.
The successful candidate will gain a wide variety of practical experience across the disciplines of Financial Control, Management and Financial Accounting, Taxation and Treasury. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge from your studies across a wide range of Finance related tasks in a large corporate organisation committed to serving the local community with clean, renewable energy.
We are looking for enthusiastic self-starters that:
- are currently undertaking a degree in a Commerce discipline i.e. Accounting, Finance or Economics;
- have completed at least their first year of study;
- have obtained at least a credit average across all completed subjects;
- have necessary documentation confirming Australian work rights;
- are available on a part time basis equating to 2 to 3 days per week;
- possess demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills; and
- demonstrate a willingness to adapt and learn across a number of Finance related tasks.
