The opportunity:

We are currently looking for a technical ESD Engineer/ Modeller to join our growing Sustainability team at ACOR. The right candidate will be working within our multi-disciplined team and responsible for developing sustainability and energy efficiency models. They will be working closely with our other Building Information Modelling (BIM) discipline leads to coordinate projects and collaborate on exciting new assignments. This role will provide great training and exposure in a rapidly growing sector. 

 Responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinating and undertaking project- specific Revit drafting/ modelling services as required
  • Assisting in developing BIM drafting standards.  
  • Will be capable of being self-motivated with a high-level of proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Software, including BIM360, Navisworks, Revisto and online data environments (CDE's)
  • Providing guidance and assistance to staff team members where required.
  • Operate on a daily basis with minimal supervision 
  • Adhering to document control and quality management protocols. 

 Skills & Experience - Required: 

  • Strong communication skills 
  • Relevant qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Demonstrable skills in Design Builder or IES VE and working knowledge of relevant sustainability design standards such as Greenstar and NABERS
  • Excellent time management skills with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and project managers 
  • Ability to liaise with other discipline documenters (Mechanical, Hydraulic, Structural, Civil and Electrical)
