As a Hydraulic BIM Technician you will support the success of ACOR, both locally and on a national level across our Building Services discipline.

The ideal candidate will possess building services industry exposure as a hydraulic design drafter/modeller and a desire to develop their design skills in this exciting role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Produce hydraulic services designs drawings and models to current Australian standards and authority codes.
  • Ensure that accurate drawings and models are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience working within the building services industry as a hydraulic design drafter.
  • Solid knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Knowledge of BIM processes and other software is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail when modelling and producing drawings for accuracy and presentation.
  • Excellent knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and building regulations.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and complete drawings and models from a design brief.
  • Ability to conduct client meetings and on-site measures if requested.
  • Excellent commercial construction knowledge is imperative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
