About the role:

Our Property Portfolio Services (PPS) business is seeking an Asset Operations Leader as a key member of PPS leadership group as we strategically grow our service offering.

As the Asset Operations Leader you will be responsible for leading the provision of consulting advisory services for identified PPS clients, aimed at assisting the client organisations to enhance asset operations and performance. This includes conducting analyses and providing recommendations for capital investment decisions related to the operations and maintenance of our clients’ facilities and portfolios.   

You will also work closely with our Service Line, Advisory and Client teams to develop multi-disciplinary asset and portfolio solutions for enhanced service delivery and to build in-house capability related to asset operations optimisation throughout the entire asset lifecycle. You will have the opportunity to join take ownership of this strategic initiative and shape our business moving forward.

While this is a complex and emerging role, key responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and maintain a network of client and industry relationships, leading to consulting engagements and opportunities for ACOR. 
  • Providing support to client and delivery teams in preparing RFP responses, developing innovative solutions for client opportunities and pain points, and developing pursuit strategies.  
  • Manage client engagements and studies such as benchmarking, quantitative analyses, gap and risk analysis. 
  • Consult directly with clients to help them identify and implement strategies, solutions or improvements related primarily to existing assets and portfolios
  •  Developing engagement frameworks and processes, conducting training sessions, and supporting multi-discipline engineering teams.
  •  Provide input to the PPS Leader, National Service Line Leader, Client Executive and Delivery Executive to shape the future direction of the business in the PPS and asset management space. 
  •  Contribute to the creation of a forward pipeline of profitable works related to ACOR’s advisory services, to achieve targets set by the Executive. 

To be successful in this role, it is anticipated you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management or a relevant discipline
  • In depth knowledge of multi-discipline engineering concepts and trends
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to solve problems and influence decision makers
  • Strong exposure to the commercial property sector in either a consulting or industry role
  • A high level of understanding of asset lifecycles and asset performance within commercial property
