 About the role:

 Our Property Portfolio Services (PPS) business is seeking a Client Development Manager as a key member of PPS leadership group as we strategically grow our service offering.

As the Client Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and acting on business development opportunities to grow ACOR’s client base primarily within the PPS sector, however from time to time in other sectors, in accordance with defined targets and strategies. You will also be responsible for the continued account growth and securing of preferred partner status and programs of work with allocated existing clients.

 You will work closely with our National Business Development Manager and team to effectively communicate opportunities between ACOR’s three level business development approach and create and deliver on strategic account plans, demonstrating current and future account opportunities, revenue goals and clear actions to secure ongoing work.

This is a newly created role and a foundational member of a strategic business unit with strong executive backing. You'll have the opportunity to shape and deliver on a key strategic initiative for ACOR Consultants.

 While this is a complex and emerging role, key responsibilities will include:

  •  Build and maintain strategic partnerships with existing and targeted clients that are asset portfolio owners or occupiers and their representatives.
  • Working with the ACOR Advisory, Service Lines and PPS teams, identifying innovative service offerings and solutions tailored to identified client needs
  • Maintain oversight of client programs and related projects. Working with ACOR Project Directors, ensure that adequate resourcing and support is provided for successful delivery of client work and that all contractual requirements are satisfied
  • Work closely with the Sector leads to determine future capability and capacity needs and help shape the future direction of the sector.
  •  Engage proactively with existing and target PPS clients to build ACOR brand loyalty, identify needs, secure opportunities, provide thought leadership, support project success and seek feedback for continuous improvement.

 To be successful in this role, it is anticipated you will have:

  •  Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management or a relevant discipline
  • Strong business development and strategic account management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to solve problems and influence decision makers
  • Significant exposure to the commercial property sector in either a consulting or industry role
  • Proven track record of winning profitable work within the property, engineering or built environment sectors
